Starship Defense is the latest download-only tower defense game from Q-Games, which, for fans of tower defense is probably all the knowledge needed. Yes, the people who made PixelJunk Monsters have taken tower defense to the Nintendo DSi and put it in outer space, adding a dash of Galaga or Galaxian.

Weapons in games have always been very cool. From the excitement of finding a Broad Sword in Dragon Warrior (for those who still remember Nintendo), to the power of a Pulse Cannon in Half Life, weapons in games will continue to amaze us and push our destructive imagination over the normal limits. Blood however is a big bonus for any 12 year old with a brand new PS3. That is why I wanted to share the 10 most Blood-Soaked Weapons available in video games.
